Tamara Ray

Tamara Ray is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Prosperity Bank since October 2025, Tamara previously held the same title at Veritex Community Bank from January 2023 to October 2025. Prior to that, Tamara was Market President at Independent Bank Group, Inc. from January 2019 to January 2023 and held a dual role as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Commercial Lending at Amegy Bank from June 2007 to January 2019. Tamara Ray earned a degree in Finance and Economics from Texas Tech University's Rawls College of Business, graduating in 2007.
