Melanie Edwards

Melanie Edwards is an accomplished award-winning singer, songwriter, pianist, and violinist, serving as the creator and owner of Melanie Edwards Laboratories since February 1995. With a Master of Fine Arts in Media and Performing Arts from The Savannah College of Art and Design, Melanie's expertise extends to music practice in various settings, including workshops at Prosperity Eating Disorders and Wellness Center and the National Theatre in Washington D.C. Additionally, bedside performances are conducted at the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, catering to patients in healthcare facilities. Melanie contributes as a teaching artist with the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and has performed as a pianist at prestigious hotels such as The St. Regis and InterContinental. Formerly, translation work was undertaken at MITRE, and a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill complements qualifications in Spanish from North Carolina State University and Universidad de Sevilla.
