Gaopeng Chen

Gaopeng Chen has a strong background in investment and healthcare, with experience in prominent companies such as Prosperity7 Ventures, SoftBank Investment Advisers, ZhenFund, Langsheng Investment, Eli Lilly and Company, and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Gaopeng currently holds the position of Investment Director at Prosperity7 Ventures since December 2022. Previously, they worked as a Vice President at SoftBank Investment Advisers from June 2021 to October 2022. Prior to that, Gaopeng served as the Vice President/Head of Healthcare at ZhenFund from September 2018 to June 2021. Gaopeng also has experience as an Investment Manager at Langsheng Investment, a Scientific Communication Manager at Eli Lilly and Company, and an Associate Researcher at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Gaopeng Chen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences at Sichuan University from 2006 to 2010. Gaopeng then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Heart Regeneration at The University of Hong Kong from 2010 to 2014.
