Betty Chilufya

Betty Chilufya is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Registered Nurse at GenesisCare since April 2022, Betty also acts as Chairlady for the Macmillan Reading Cancer Champion Support Group and holds the position of Research Champion for Prostate Cancer UK. From November 2000 to April 2022, Betty worked as an Advanced Theatre Practitioner at Royal Berkshire Hospital, with earlier experience as a Registered Nurse at Nkana Mine Hospital from January 1996 to January 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Enhanced Professional Practice from Thames Valley University and a Diploma Level from ILM Hart Learning and Development, along with training in nursing and midwifery from Kitwe School of Nursing, Ndola School of Midwifery, and UTH Theatre Nursing.
