Gary Haines

Gary Haines has extensive experience in sports communication and journalism, currently serving as the Sports PR Manager at Prostate Cancer UK since November 2013. Prior to this role, Gary worked at Charlton Athletic Football Club from May 2005 to October 2013, initially as a Match Reporter before progressing to Press Officer and Programme Editor. Gary's career began at the Romford Recorder, where from June 1998 to April 2005, this professional held the position of Deputy Sports Editor, starting as a sports reporter and covering local sports, including non-league football. Gary Haines holds a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism and Business Management from The University of Manchester, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
