Rajit Gholap

Rajit Gholap has a diverse range of work experience spanning over a decade. Rajit started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate, where they supervised internal and external audits for charity and housing sector clients. Rajit also had a client secondment to a leading charity for the elderly.

Following that, Rajit worked as a Treasurer at Tenteleni, providing financial support to the management committee and trustees. Rajit was responsible for maintaining financial records, making payments, and presenting reports at trustee meetings.

Rajit then took on the role of Treasurer at Interact Worldwide, a voluntary position where they provided financial insight and oversaw the annual statutory audit. This role culminated in a successful merger with Plan UK.

Rajit later joined Quit as a Treasurer, where they served for two and a half years.

Rajit then worked at Crown Agents as a Senior Finance Business Partner and International Office Finance Manager. Rajit was responsible for planning, undertaking, and reporting on financial and operational controls. Rajit also performed audits in various countries and sectors.

After that, they served as a Trustee at Friend Publications Limited, an organization that produces a weekly publication and a quarterly journal.

At Teach First, Rajit held various roles including Finance Director, Acting CFO, Head of Financial Accounting, Head of Finance Business Partnering, and Finance Manager/Head of Financial Accounting. Rajit oversaw budgeting, financial reporting, income generation, and project pricing. Rajit also worked closely with other departments to create a new organizational strategy.

Currently, Rajit Gholap is the Director of Finance, Governance, and Technology at Prostate Cancer UK.
