Michael Andree Purugganan

Michael Andree Purugganan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Michael Andree began their career at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2003 as an Administrative Assistant. From 2003 to 2008, they worked at Children's Hospital Boston, where they held positions as a Laboratory Processing Technician, Senior Laboratory Technician, and eventually a Laboratory Supervisor. In 2011, they joined Massachusetts General Hospital as a Senior Clinical Laboratory Assistant until 2015. Michael Andree then worked at Partners HealthCare as a Technical Research Assistant from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined St. Elizabeth's Medical Center as a Lab Support Supervisor and later became a Pathology Supervisor from 2019 to 2022. During this time, they also worked as a Cantor at St. Mary of the Assumption Church starting in 2012. In 2019, they joined Maplewood Senior Living as a Concierge, leaving in 2020. Currently, they are working as a Laboratory Operations Manager at ProtaGene since 2022 and will take on the role of Senior Manager, Lab Operations and Facilities starting in 2023.

Michael Andree Purugganan completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Physics from De La Salle University from 1997 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Computer Applications from the College of St. Benilde at De La Salle University from 1999 to 2002.
