Alon Shtrikman is a software and algorithms engineer and biological researcher at Protai since September 2023, focusing on proteomics and machine learning to enhance disease targeting and drug development. Previously, Alon served as an R&D scientist and bioinformatician at Mybiotics Pharma LTD from February 2020 to September 2023, leading a team in developing a microbiome-based pharmaceutical drug and advancing the project through clinical trials. Alon's experience also includes a role as a science educator at the Davidson Institute of Science Education, teaching science to at-risk and gifted students, and conducting research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where Alon explored areas such as T-cell selection and cancer progression. Alon holds a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Life Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
