Dror Bashan

President, CEO & Director at Protalix BioTherapeutics

Dror Bashan has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dror currently serves as President, CEO, and Director of Protalix BioTherapeutics. Prior to their current role, Bashan served as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development at Teva Pharmaceuticals from December 1998 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for strategic alliances, M&A, and cross-company strategic projects. Dror also played a key role in the acquisition of assets and divestiture of portfolios, production plants, and selected products. In early 2018, they closed Teva's largest divestiture process - the global women's health asset.

Bashan began their career in the pharmaceutical industry at Bank Leumi in September 1993, where they served as a Senior Business Analyst. Dror has a deep understanding of the industry and has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of several companies.

Dror Bashan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Management from Tel Aviv University. Dror then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the same school.
