Raanan Gewirtzman

Raanan Gewirtzman is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of successful experience in a variety of international companies, owning a deep understanding in a wide range of markets and technologies. Raanan joined proteanTecs in 2018 as Chief Business Officer and is responsible for leading the long-term vision and strategy of revolutionary Universal Chip Telemetry™ in electronics. In 2003, Raanan joined BroadLight, a private fabless-semiconductor company and leader of FTTH solutions. From 2007 he served as BroadLight’s CEO and Board Member and led the company from startup to a market-leading and profitable growth company, until it was acquired by Broadcom in 2012. Prior to that, Raanan held senior management positions in various companies including Virata Corporation, which merged into GlobespanVirata, and spent 14 years at IBM Research. Raanan holds a Practical Engineer degree in Mechanics, a B.Sc cum laude in Computer Engineering and an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering specializing in Artificial Neutral Networks from The Israel Institute of Technology, Technion.
