William Armiros has a diverse work experience with various roles at different companies. William started their career as a Technical Research Intern at the National Hellenic Museum in 2015. In 2016, they worked as an Engineering Intern at CoreCentric Solutions, Inc. Following this, in 2017, they became a Software Development Intern at John Deere, where they worked on developing an app for controlling an automated lawn mower and creating skills for the Google Assistant voice platform.
In 2018, William joined Amazon as a Software Development Intern. In 2019, they continued at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer, specializing in the maintenance of the open source X-Ray SDKs for Java and Node.js. William later transitioned to the role of a Software Development Manager in 2022, leading a team within AWS X-Ray and working on various projects, including collaborations on the tracing components of the OpenTelemetry project.
Most recently, William joined Protect AI in 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer.
William Armiros obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2015 to 2019.
