Travis Bruner

Travis Bruner is currently an Arizona State Policy Advocate at Protect Democracy, where they focus on policy strategies in the state. They previously served as the Conservation Director at the Grand Canyon Trust from 2018 to 2024 and held roles such as Public Lands Director at the Western Watersheds Project and Family Liaison/Technology Instructor at Denver Public Schools. Travis earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado in 2013 and a BA in International Relations and Music from Tufts University in 2001. Their extensive legal experience includes various internships and externships, notably with the American Indian Law Clinic and the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
