Graham Zimmerman is a distinguished professional alpine climbing athlete and advocate for climate justice. As the Director of Athlete Alliances at Protect Our Winters since December 2019, Graham leads initiatives that empower athletes to engage in climate advocacy. In addition to this role, Graham serves as the founding Board Chair of Dirtroad Organizing, focusing on building rural community power. Protect Our Winters is the environmental center point of the winter sports community. Founded by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones in 2007, we are united towards a common goal of reducing climate change's effects on our sport and local mountain communities.
