Leigh Capozzi

Leigh Capozzi has a diverse work experience in various industries such as outdoor sports, lifestyle, and tourism. Starting in 2001, they worked as the North American Public Relations Manager for Burton Snowboards. Leigh later joined Snowboarder Magazine, first as an Account Executive in 2004, and then as the Associate Publisher in 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at Ziba Design, managing digital lifestyle programs for clients such as Nike and Microsoft.

Capozzi's career then transitioned to the marketing and communications field. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Senior Consultant at Missy Farren PR (MFA) | Finn Partners, where they managed public relations and communications for lifestyle clients. Leigh then became the Marketing + PR Director at Nau Clothing from 2011 to 2013, responsible for strategic planning and execution of the brand's marketing efforts.

Following their role at Nau Clothing, Capozzi started their own consulting company, Capozzi Consulting, where they worked as a Senior Consultant for sport, lifestyle, and tourism brands such as Visit Bend, Ski Oregon, and Nau. Additionally, they provided marketing and communication services for Missy Farren and Associates (MFA) as a contracted resource.

In 2019, Capozzi joined Mt. Bachelor as the Brand and Marketing Director, leading the integrated marketing and communications efforts for both Mt. Bachelor and Sun Country Tours. Leigh'sresponsibilities included managing a marketing team and driving a positive work culture.

Most recently, in 2022, Capozzi became Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Protect Our Winters, showcasing their expertise in marketing and communications leadership positions.

Alongside their professional experience, Capozzi co-founded North Drinkware in 2015, successfully launching the brand and products via Kickstarter campaigns. The brand quickly became known for its Made in America premium products.

Leigh Capozzi completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Vermont, graduating in the year 2000. Additionally, in 1999, they attended Grenoble Ecole de Management for a short duration, where they pursued the field of International Marketing and obtained a CIB qualification.
