Mel Briggs

Mel Briggs is a skilled Development Coordinator at Protect Our Winters since March 2023 and serves as a Run Team Captain. Previously, Mel was a Professional Athlete with Oiselle from August 2013 to August 2021, achieving the distinction of a two-time Olympic Trials Qualifier in the 3k steeplechase and ranking in the top 20 in the world for the same event. Mel also held the position of Customer Service Manager at Picky Bars, Inc. from March 2014 to July 2019, overseeing customer service operations for over 2,000 subscription members and implementing new workflows that supported significant company growth. Mel earned a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from the University of Washington, graduating in June 2012.
