Jay M. Elquist

Jay Elquist is an accomplished electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the utility and engineering sectors. As CEO and Co-Founder of Protection Zone Management since January 2015, Jay has focused on developing innovative software tools and inspection programs tailored for utility clients. In addition, as President of High Energy Engineering since January 2010, Jay has overseen an array of consulting services, including electrical modeling and project management. Previously, Jay served as Electric Operations Manager at NV Energy, where responsibilities included overseeing the electric distribution system and managing operations in the Elko area. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
