Joseph Koorsen

Joseph Koorsen is an experienced procurement and vendor management professional with a diverse background in IT and consulting. Currently serving as the IT Procurement Lead at Protective Insurance since February 2020, Joseph is focused on developing a robust vendor management program and enhancing procurement processes. Previously, Joseph held roles at Anthem as a Strategic Vendor Manager, overseeing vendor activities across various business units and ensuring governance and compliance. While at Eli Lilly and Company, Joseph advanced from a Consultant to Senior Associate Consultant, managing global print services and a substantial budget, and supported procurement functions throughout multiple positions including Software Licensing and Compliance Coordinator. Joseph began a career in consulting at Braun Consulting, specializing in database design and technical support. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Business Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
