Rama Varigonda

Rama Varigonda has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance and IT fields. Currently, they are the Director of IT Finance at Protective Insurance. Previously, Rama worked at Cummins Inc. as the EBU Engineering PFR Manager from 2018 to 2020, the World Wide IT Finance Manager from 2017 to 2018, the Enterprise IT Software Capital Leader from 2014 to 2017, and as a Consultant from 2013 to 2014. Rama also held the position of Controller at Tri Star Engineering in 2013, Accounting Manager at Kongsberg Automotive from 2011 to 2012, and Sr. Analyst at United Technologies Research Center from 2007 to 2010. Rama started their career at Open Solutions as the Financial Operations Manager from 2005 to 2007.

Rama Varigonda completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) in Finance from Auburn University, which they attended from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Osmania University, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Earlier on, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Accounting from Osmania University, from 1996 to 1998.

In addition to their formal education, Rama Varigonda also holds a certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). Rama obtained this certification in June 2007.
