John Bagby

John Bagby has a robust background in accounting and assurance, currently serving as an Analyst II in General Accounting at Protective Life since October 2022. Prior to this role, John worked at RSM US LLP for nearly four years, progressing from Assurance Associate to Assurance Supervisor, demonstrating significant growth in the accounting field. Early career experiences include an internship at RSM US LLP and a position in Stock Room and Inventory Management at Bariatric Health & Wellness. Additionally, John gained leadership experience as a Summer Day Camp Counselor at YMCA of the USA and fulfilled a role as an Intramural Sports Referee at the University of Alabama Recreation Center. John holds a degree from The University of Alabama, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2017, following graduation from Hoover High School in 2013.
