John Roesle

John Roesle is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fixed income portfolio management. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Fixed Income at Protective Life since May 2006, John leads a team of senior portfolio managers and analysts overseeing a substantial $55 billion credit and municipal bond portfolio, with a focus on financials. Prior to this role, John held positions as an Assistant Portfolio Manager, where responsibilities included credit analysis for corporate bond portfolios, and interned at Tennessee Consolidated Retirement Services. Earlier in his career, John gained experience in risk management and real-time power trading at Entegra Power Group, as well as in research and development at AOC. John holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Vanderbilt University and a BSE in Chemical Engineering from Tulane University.
