Kathryn Cox

Kathryn Cox is the Senior Vice President and President of the Protection Division at Protective Life, responsible for leadership in sales, operations, product development, and underwriting. Previously, Kathryn spent over three decades at Reinsurance Group of America, advancing through various roles including Senior Vice President of Business Development, where strategic plans aligned production with corporate growth. Kathryn's extensive experience also includes leadership roles in retrocession management, process development, and client account management, with a strong focus on mortality risk transfer and operational efficiency. Kathryn began the career as an actuary at General American and holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Maryville University of Saint Louis.
