Ryan Schwoebel

Ryan Schwoebel, CFE, CAMS, CFI, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in compliance and law enforcement. At Protective Life, Ryan serves as the SIU Director, having previously held positions as SIU & AML Manager and AML Compliance Officer. Ryan also contributes to academia as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Alabama at Birmingham and Troy University. Additionally, Ryan has a background in law enforcement as a Police Officer with the Alabama Historic Ironworks Commission and as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Jefferson County Sheriffs Dept, where Ryan served as Co-commander and Intelligence Officer of the DPU. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo.
