Vernon Gross

Vernon Gross has over 40 years of work experience. Vernon began their career in 1980 as a Sonar Tech, Submarines First Class Petty Officer (E-6) for the US Navy. In 1984, they became a Writer/Logistic Engineer at Draper Laboratory. In 1990, they were an Engineering Support Manager at Spears Associates. From 1995 to 1998, they worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for American Medical Response and as a Captain/EMT for the Hopedale Fire Department. From 1996 to 2014, they were employed by Kidde-Fenwal (A UTC Fire & Security Company) where they held the roles of Product Manager (Detection & Control) and Documentation Manager. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Regional Sales Manager - Northeastern, USA for Chemetron Fire Systems. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Regional Sales Manager NE, USA for Det-Tronics (Detector Electronics Corporation). Since 2017, they have been a Business Development Manager for Protectowire FireSystems.

Vernon Gross attended Quinsigamond Community College from 2007 to 2009, where they earned an Associate in Science degree in Fire Science. Vernon then attended Anna Maria College from 2008 to 2009 to further their studies in Fire Science. In 2011, they began attending Assumption College, where they studied Social Sciences until 2014. In January 2014, they obtained an Emergency Medical Tech. certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
