Kristina Waggoner

Kristina Waggoner has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kristina is currently working at Protego Biopharma as an Assistant Controller and previously held the role of Associate Director, Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting. Before joining Protego Biopharma, they worked at Reneo Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Accounting Manager for three years. Prior to that, they were the Supervisor, General Ledger & Reporting at AmpliPhi Biosciences. Kristina started their career as a Staff Accountant at Sapphire Energy Inc. and later held the same role at Pfenex Inc. Furthermore, they worked as an Accountant at Pilipinas Shell Foundation and as an Accounts Assistant at NH Hoteles Harrington Hall Hotel. Their earliest work experience was as an Administrative Assistant at DMCI Homes UK Ltd. Overall, Kristina has gained valuable experience in various accounting roles within different organizations.

Kristina Waggoner completed the ACCA Professional Scheme at Kaplan Financial in London, UK from 2006 to 2009. This program focused on Chartered Accountant courses. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Administration from the University of the Philippines from 1996 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, Kristina became a Certified Public Accountant through the California Board of Accountancy in January 2015, and they also obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from ACCA in January 2014.
