David Siemer

David Siemer is an experienced executive in the financial and digital asset sectors, currently serving as the CEO of Wave Digital Assets since September 2018, where the firm focuses on venture capital and wealth management within the digital asset ecosystem. As a co-founder and general partner of Wavemaker Genesis, established in June 2017, David specializes in early-stage investments in cryptocurrency and blockchain. Additionally, David co-founded Wavemaker Partners in January 2005, a cross-border venture capital firm. David founded Siemer & Associates in December 2007, leading it to become a prominent boutique investment bank before its acquisition in 2016. Prior roles include various positions at Montgomery & Co., where significant deals were executed, along with a partnership at Desco Capital managing venture investments. David Siemer holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Lehigh University.
