Christian Carnell

Christian Carnell has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Christian is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Protegrity, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Finance at Protegrity from November 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining Protegrity, Christian worked at Snap One as the VP of Business Transformation from April 2021 to October 2021. Christian also held the position of Assistant Controller & Director of Accounting at Snap One from September 2019 to March 2021.

Christian has extensive experience at Control4 Corporation, where they held various roles. Christian served as the Assistant Controller & Director of Accounting from July 2015 to August 2019. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Financial Analyst from February 2012 to July 2015, and a Senior Accountant from May 2009 to February 2012. In these roles, they were responsible for financial analysis, managing accounting teams, and implementing new processes.

Christian has also worked as a part-time Chief Financial Officer on a contract basis for Cuentas Inc. from April 2016 to July 2018, EVIO, Inc. from November 2016 to April 2018, and Equities.com from November 2012 to February 2016.

Earlier in their career, Christian worked as an Accountant at Cameo College of Essential Beauty from August 2008 to August 2009, and as a Staff Auditor at Child, Van Wagoner & Bradshaw from January 2007 to August 2008.

Christian Carnell earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Utah from 2007 to 2009. Christian also holds an Associate's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Salt Lake Community College, which they completed from 2004 to 2007.

In terms of additional certifications, Christian Carnell is a Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Green Belt, certified by The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Christian is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the California Board of Accountancy in June 2010.
