Parimal Puranik

Parimal Puranik has a diverse work experience in product management and QA engineering roles spanning multiple companies. Parimal is currently the Director of Product Management at Protegrity, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Oracle as the Director of Product Management from January 2022 to April 2023. Parimal also took a career break from May 2021 to December 2021.

Before their time at Oracle, Parimal worked at Riverbed Technology, where they held various roles, including Vice President of Product Management for WAN Edge, Application Acceleration, and Edge Computing lines of business from June 2019 to April 2021. Parimal served as the Senior Director of Product Management for SteelFusion from June 2017 to June 2019 and as the Director of Product Management for SteelFusion from August 2013 to June 2017.

Parimal's earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Product Manager at Zynga from June 2011 to August 2013, a Product Manager at Pillar Data Systems from June 2009 to June 2011, and a Product Manager at Asempra Technologies from June 2005 to April 2009. Parimal started their career at VMware as a QA Engineer from February 2004 to June 2005 and at CalSoft as a Member Technical Staff/Senior QA Engineer from January 2003 to June 2005.

Parimal Puranik holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Executive MBA from Saint Mary's College of California, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Parimal completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics and Telecommunications from Pune Institute of Computer Technology and Savitribai Phule Pune University from 1998 to 2002. Parimal also completed their Pre-University (HSC) education at Fergusson College from 1996 to 1998 and their High School (SSC) education at St. Vincent's High School from 1989 to 1996. Furthermore, they have acquired additional certifications in Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications from Berkeley Haas Executive Education and in Product Management from Pragmatic Marketing.
