James Street

James Street is an accomplished professional in the food and beverage processing sector, currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Protein Industries Canada since July 2021. Prior to this role, James held the position of Senior Manager at the BC Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, where strategic leadership was provided for food and beverage processing from January 2019 to July 2021. Previous experience includes consulting in food processing, co-owning Stellar Food Group, and engaging in various culinary roles, including chef and butcher. James also contributed to marketing efforts as a volunteer director at Cedar Farmers Market and has an extensive background in kitchen management and culinary consulting. Educational qualifications include a Red Seal in Culinary Arts from Vancouver Island University and further training at Camosun College.
