Lucas Siow

CEO & Co-Founder at ProteinQure

Lucas Siow is the CEO and Co-Founder of ProteinQure, a startup that creates computational protein design software for drug discovery and development. Prior to starting ProteinQure, they worked as a Senior Analyst in Investment Policy at RBC Global Asset Management. There, they were responsible for designing and optimizing the biggest mutual fund solutions in Canada and backtesting novel asset classes and quantitative investing methods. Lucas also worked as a Summer Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

Lucas has always been interested in both business and science. Lucas completed their undergraduate degree in Honours Biochemistry at the University of Toronto before going on to get their MBA from the Harvard Business School. Their experience in both the business and scientific worlds has helped him create a successful company that is changing the way drugs are developed.

Lucas Siow is currently a Master of Business Administration (MBA) candidate at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management. Prior to pursuing their MBA, Lucas completed a Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. Lucas also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
