Tracy Stone is a Wetlab Scientist at ProteinQure. Prior to this, they were with the Chemical Biophysics Symposium Organizing Committee as part of the sponsorship team from August 2012 to May 2015. Tracy was also a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children from August 2011 to August 2019. Tracy has also been a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from August 2012 to December 2016. In this role, they helped students in BCH210 (Biochemistry I: Proteins, Lipids and Metabolism). Tracy has also been involved with Walksafer at the University of Toronto from September 2008 to April 2011 where they guided students, faculty, visitors and staff to locations across campus after hours and reported dangerous or suspicious situations to campus police.
Tracy Stone completed their Honors Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Tracy then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. Tracy is certified from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto in Teaching in Higher Education Program as well as from the Teaching Assistants' Training Program in the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation in Teaching Fundamentals Certificate.
