Patricia Staples has a long history of experience in quality assurance and engineering roles. Patricia began their career in 1988 as a Senior Quality Engineer at Spartanburg Steel Products, where they were responsible for product quality development and implementation for Ford, Toyota and BMW product lines. Patricia then moved on to Aetna Industries in 1999 as a Supplier Quality Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing quality development of tier two suppliers. In 2002, they became the APQP Coordinator at Valeo Climate Controls, where they managed quality documentation for the Ford Fuel Cell program. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Quality Engineer at Parker Air and Fuel, where they were a quality member of the Military Fuel team and worked with customers, suppliers and production team members to continuously improve product line. During that time, they also worked as the Division Quality Manager at Parker Process Advanced Filtration. In 2010, they joined Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company as a Senior Quality Engineer, where they managed the Approved Supplier list and Receiving Inspection operations. In 2014, they became the Group Lead of Program Quality Engineers and Audit at Nammo Talley, Inc., where they managed the Quality Engineering and Audit departments and worked with Program Managers and teams to ensure program deliverables were completed on time and under budget. Finally, in 2016, they joined Nammo Defense Systems Inc. as the Quality Engineering Manager, where they managed the Supplier Quality Engineering group to improve incoming quality and conducted supplier audits and source inspections. In 2021, they began their current role as Quality Assurance Manager at ProTek Devices, where they manage the ISO9001 Quality Management System, including all aspects and requirements of quality and continual improvement, and oversees corrective actions for internal, supplier and customer.
Patricia Staples completed their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Kettering University in 1986, with a focus in Statistics and Quality. Patricia then went on to receive their MBA from Clemson University in 1992, with a focus in Statistics and Employee Development. In December 1995, they obtained their Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) from ASQ - World Headquarters. In June 2019, they obtained their Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from ASQ - World Headquarters.
