Melanie Krüger has a wealth of work experience. Melanie began their career in 2007 as a Student Assistant at the Institute for Environmental Research, TU Dortmund, Department ecological sector concepts. In 2011, they became a Student Assistant at ThyssenKrupp Uhde, Department Electrolysis. In 2012, they were a Student Intern at the University of Macau. In 2013, they became a Master-Student at the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences -ISAS - e.V. In 2014, they were a Master-Student at ThyssenKrupp Uhde, Department Electrolysis. In 2015, they were a Research And Development Engineer and R&D Engineer and PhD student within Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant BIOGEL at LifeTec Group™. In 2016, they were a Visiting PhD Student at DWI - Leibniz-Institut für Interaktive Materialien. Finally, in 2021, they became Manager Regulatory Affairs International at Protembis GmbH.

Melanie Krüger has a diverse education history. Melanie is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Regenerative Medicine at Utrecht University, which they began in 2018 and is expected to finish in 2022. In 2020, they completed online courses in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Maryland. From 2006 to 2014, they earned a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Bioingenieurwesen from TU Dortmund University. From 2004 to 2006, they studied Physik at Bergische Universität Wuppertal. Melanie also attended St. Francis Xavier High School in Ontario, Canada from 2001 to 2002. In July 2022, they are expected to receive a Manager Regulatory Affairs International certification from TÜV SÜD.
