Chris Kang

Chris Kang is a Principal Control System Engineer at PROTEOR USA, specializing in the development of algorithms for micro-processor controlled lower-limb prosthetics to enhance patient mobility. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Control System Engineer at ThinKom Solutions, Inc., where algorithm development for airborne satellite communication antennas was key. Chris also served as an instructor at UCLA for a senior mechanical design course and conducted postdoctoral research at UCLA’s Fusion Science and Technology Center, focusing on thermo-mechanical properties of ceramic materials for fusion energy applications. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Systems and Control, an MS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from UCLA, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
