Vincent Shaw has a diverse work experience in scientific research and academia. Vincent is currently working at Proteos as a Senior Scientist since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Michigan State University for several years. From 2019 to 2022, they served as a Research Associate, and as a PhD Candidate from 2014 to 2022. In their doctoral research, they focused on the mechanism of action of covalent RGS inhibitors and used biochemical and biophysical approaches. Before their PhD, Vincent worked as a Research Assistant in the Ohlrogge Lab at Michigan State University from 2013 to 2014, where they contributed to the production of a seed oil called Acetyl triacylglycerol.
Vincent Shaw completed their Bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Michigan State University from 2009 to 2011. Vincent later pursued a PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the same university, which they completed between 2014 and 2019.
