Patricio Alegre

Patricio Alegre began working as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Protera Biosciences in January 2019. Prior to this, they worked as an Ingeniero de optimización RAN at Optytek from May 2017 to February 2019.

Patricio Alegre possesses a diverse education history. Patricio completed their Magíster en Ciencias de la Ingeniería Electrónica (Master's in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician) from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa Maria in 2016. Additionally, they hold a degree in Ingeniería Civil Electrónica (Civil Electronic Engineering) from the same university, which was completed prior to 2016 and focuses on Telecomunicaciones - Computadores (Telecommunications - Computers).

In terms of certifications, Patricio has obtained several from reputable institutions. In 2019, they earned the Fundamentals of Statistics certification from MITx MicroMasters® Programs, as well as the Machine Learning with Python-From Linear Models to Deep Learning and Data Analysis in Social Science-Assessing Your Knowledge certifications. In 2018, they acquired the Probability - The Science of Uncertainty and Data certification.

Furthermore, Patricio has completed various specializations in the field of machine learning. Patricio obtained the Deep Learning Specialization certification and the Applied Data Science with Python Specialization certification through Coursera in 2018. Prior to that, in 2017, they completed the Machine Learning Specialization and Machine Learning certifications, both also offered by Coursera.

Patricio has continued to enhance their knowledge and skillset with additional educational pursuits. In 2018, they obtained a Nanodegree in Deep Learning from Udacity. Most recently, in 2021, they completed an Artificial Intelligence Certificate from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
