Koh Peng

Koh Peng is a Managing Director for Proterra Investment Partners and serves as the firm’s Asia General Counsel. He provides support for Proterra’s Asian investment activities, oversees regulatory compliance, and is the compliance officer for Proterra’s Singapore office.

Prior to Proterra, Koh Peng served as a Managing Director for Black River Asset Management, a division of Cargill, in a similar role supporting the firm’s investments and regulatory compliance. He has experience in private equity investments, initial public offerings, distressed credits, securities regulations, structured trade finance and general corporate advisory. Prior to joining Black River, Koh Peng was a partner in the equity capital markets practice of WongPartnership, which achieved a Tier 1 ranking by the International Financial Law Review. He also co-authored the Singapore chapter in the “PLC Cross-border Handbooks –Equity Capital Markets -2006/2007”.

Koh Peng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a bachelor of laws degree (2nd upper class honors).
