Gregory Iwahashi

Sr. Director, Partnerships at Proterra

Gregory Iwahashi's work experience includes a variety of roles in the renewable energy industry. Gregory has worked at Proterra Inc as the Director and Senior Manager of Partnership Negotiations, where they focused on establishing long-term partnerships with OEMs for electric vehicle/machine programs. Gregory also served as the Manager of Business Development for Proterra Powered, working to identify electrification partners and fill the top of the sales funnel.

At ENGIE Storage (formerly Green Charge), Gregory held the positions of Business Development Manager and Strategic Proposal Manager, where they worked on energy storage projects and virtual power plant projects, targeting C&I and utility grid operators in North America.

Prior to that, Gregory worked at Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Senior Contract Management Analyst and Contract Management Analyst, managing renewable generation programs and administering Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Gregory was responsible for contract administration, dispute resolution, and communication for PG&E's electric PPAs.

Gregory also held roles at SolarCity as a Senior Incentives Associate, at TerViva BioEnergy as a Researcher, at the Department of Health and Human Services as an OS/ASA Intern, at US Congress as an Intern for Congressman David Wu, and at UC Berkeley Glass Laboratory as a Research Assistant.

Finally, they also served as a Fellow at the International Leadership Foundation.

Gregory Iwahashi attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, General and also completed a Minor in Energy Resources Group.
