Tommy Lai

Tommy Lai is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior BMS Controls and Integration Engineer at Proterra Inc since April 2022, Tommy previously held the position of Systems Engineer at Romeo Power, Inc., where responsibilities included acting as the technical point of contact for an 800V battery pack and conducting essential testing procedures. Prior experience at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles involved validation of vehicle electrical systems, while earlier roles included improving IT infrastructure at Pernod Ricard and conducting testing as a Validation Technician at Kautex Textron. Tommy Lai holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor, obtained in 2019.
