Herman Schimmel

Herman Schimmel, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Dirigent for St. Caeciliakoor at Parochie Maria Magdalena and holding multiple positions within Rotary in Nederland since 2013, including Kennismanager and Secretary of Rotaryclub Elst Over-Betuwe. Herman is also the Voorzitter of KCZB, an organization dedicated to supporting choirs, and serves as the Hoofdredacteur of Vocaal Magazine. Additionally, positions include Rotary Foundation District Chair for District 1550 and managerial roles with Alosta Advies and Nederlandse Uitdaging. With a solid educational background including a PhD in E-learning, Knowledge Management, and Change Management from Sheffield Hallam University, Herman has also contributed as Choirmaster and Organist for the Protestantse Kerk in Nederland and held various dirigent positions with notable choirs.
