Paul Di Donato has extensive experience in leadership roles within nonprofit organizations focusing on AIDS advocacy and LGBTQ+ rights. As President of Proteus Fund and Proteus Action League since December 2015, Paul has advanced philanthropic initiatives. Previously, Paul served on the Board of Trustees for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, where significant contributions were made to grantmaking efforts. As Director of the Civil Marriage Collaborative from 2007 to 2015, Paul drove strategies for marriage equality, while also providing consulting services to various foundations and organizations. Prior to these roles, Paul was the Executive Director of Funders Concerned About AIDS, influencing philanthropic responses to HIV/AIDS from 1997 to 2005, and held the position of Director of Federal Affairs at the San Francisco AIDS Foundation from 1993 to 1997. Paul holds a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Pennsylvania.

Our staff is based across the entire United States.
