Lead Hardware Engineer at Proteus Motion

Giacomo Bolon has been a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Proteus Motion Inc. (formerly Boston Biomotion) since 2019. Prior to that, they were a Work Center Supervisor and Collateral Duty Inspector KC-130J at the United States Marine Corps from 2010. As Work Center Supervisor, they oversaw day-to-day operations, maintenance procedures, inspections, part acquisition, and administrative functions directly related to mission support and capability of up to 12 KC-130J aircraft. Additionally, they maintained adaptability simultaneously leading, motivating, and educating junior Marines in personal conduct, job proficiency, customs & courtesies, and general aircraft knowledge. As Collateral Duty Inspector KC-130J, they performed oversight of maintenance procedures in environmental, airframe, and fire protection systems and ensured all jobs were executed safely, and in a timely manner in accordance with appropriate systems specifications and manuals. Giacomo also performed final inspections of all maintenance performed by staff and submitted recommendation of approval for safe flight operation. Giacomo Bolon achieved certification in ordnance installation, removal, and transport for several on aircraft systems involving, fire extinguishing and in flight fuel transfer.

Giacomo Bolon graduated from the New York Institute of Technology in 2018 with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Giacomo had previously graduated from the same institution in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
