Qiang Wang is currently the Head of Artificial Intelligence R&D at Prothea Technologies, a position held since 2025. Previously, Qiang worked as a Software Engineer and Project Lead at IBM China from 2006 to 2010, and served as a Research Assistant and Research Fellow at the University of Leeds between 2013 and 2014. From 2018 to 2025, Qiang was a Research Software Engineer for Medical Devices at the University of Edinburgh. Qiang holds a Bachelor's degree from Dalian University of Technology, a Master of Science from 中南民族大学, and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
