Emily Tess

Emily is the Associate Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning at Prothelia. Prior to joining Prothelia, Emily was an engagement manager at ClearView Healthcare Partners, a life sciences strategy consulting firm advising leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies on asset and corporate level strategy. While at ClearView, Emily led strategic projects primarily in the neuromuscular and rare disease spaces, including FSHD, Huntington’s Disease, and SMA. Emily also has experience in target discovery at Regeneron and biomimetic micro-systems engineering ("organ on a chip") academic research, with an emphasis on skeletal & muscle diseases. Emily received her MS in bioengineering from The University of Pennsylvania and a BS in biological engineering from Cornell University.
