Judie Thomas

Judie Thomas, MS has extensive work experience in the clinical research field. Judie currently serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Prothena Corporation plc, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Taysha Gene Therapies, where they held the roles of Associate Director of Trial Management and Senior Trial Manager from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, Judie was a Clinical Project Manager at Aeglea BioTherapeutics. Judie also gained experience as an Assistant Clinical Trial Manager at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2015 to 2018 and as a Project Specialist II at INC Research from 2013 to 2015. Before that, Judie worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Metroplex Clinical Research Center from 2012 to 2013. Judie began their career in the field as a Research Intern at the Autism Treatment Center of Dallas in 2011.

Judie Thomas has a strong education background with a focus on pharmaceutical management, applied cognition and neuroscience, and biology and business administration. In 2020, they obtained a Pharmaceutical Management Foundations Certificate (online) from Cornell University. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, Judie pursued and successfully completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Dallas. Judie'sundergraduate studies took place from 2004 to 2009 at the same institution, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology and Business Administration.
