Heidi de Bruin

Heidi de Bruin is the founder of Protifarm, a company that produces insects for food and animal feed. Heidi has also worked as the Chair of the Novel Food Task Force at IPIFF, a European non-profit organisation that promotes the use of insects as a source of nutrients. Prior to their work at IPIFF, de Bruin was the Managing Director of EMEA TRADEPAQ at BT Systems, LLC. Heidi has also worked as a consultant at NUNC and as a Trade Finance Systems Analyst at BankTrade.

Heidi de Bruin has an MBA from the Business School Netherlands, as well as NIMA A, B, and C credentials in Strategic Marketing from NIMA, the Nederlands Institute for Marketing. Heidi also has a Bachelor of Business Administration from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. In addition, Heidi is a Chartered Marketeer from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, with a specialization in International Marketing.
