Zachery Mayfield

Zachery Mayfield is a Nuclear Licensing Engineer at Protingent since April 2023, responsible for drafting and reviewing licensing documents for the Natrium SFR project. Previously, Zachery worked as a Nuclear Mechanical Engineer at Black & Veatch, focusing on the design of various systems for the GEH BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor. Prior experience includes being a Nuclear Operator at Duke Energy Corporation, where Zachery qualified in multiple building operations and contributed to emergency response initiatives, as well as roles at GE Power as a Nuclear Field Service Engineer supervising outage activities, and as a Nuclear Vessel Technician with Granite Services. Zachery's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering from North Carolina State University.
