Tanmoy Bhunia

Tanmoy Bhunia currently serves as the Data Science Vice President at Protium since October 2023. Previously, Tanmoy held the position of Vice President of Analytics and Product Manager at eShakti.com from November 2021 to October 2023, where responsibilities included developing the Recommendation Engine Infrastructure and optimizing Data Infrastructure through analytics. Tanmoy's experience at Goldman Sachs (June 2016 - July 2018) as a Senior Associate Analyst involved working in the Fixed Income Securities Division as a Quantitative Strategist, creating models to comply with Basel regulations. Additionally, Tanmoy contributed to IIT Bombay Racing as a Powertrain Engineer from April 2014 to May 2016, assisting in the development of an electronic differential and leading a team in building an electric race car. Tanmoy's academic credentials include an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (2018-2020) and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (2012-2016).
