Avinash Voruganti

Avinash Voruganti is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk and compliance analytics, currently serving as Director at Protiviti since July 2011. In this role, Avinash leads initiatives in model risk management, AML model validation, machine learning model governance, and enterprise risk management. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Director, Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior Consultant at Protiviti, focusing on credit risk model development and regulatory compliance. Before joining Protiviti, Avinash worked at HSBC as a Senior Credit Policy and Risk Analyst, specializing in credit risk modeling for various financial products. Avinash began a foundational career in research at the University of Texas at Austin as a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to a thesis on freight network modeling. Avinash holds a Master's degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
