Pieter Sheth-Voss has extensive experience in quantitative management consulting, software development, and research. Pieter began their career in 1994 as a Research Intern at GE Research, where they developed an algorithm and software to optimize promotional ad placement and designed a reliability test plan for X-ray tubes for GE Medical Systems. Pieter then worked as a Consultant at Haddock and Associates, designing optimization algorithms and software architecture for the Global Credit Support System. In 1997, they joined ZS Associates as an Operations Research Manager, where they developed SmartAlign(tm) and SmartSize(tm) optimization engines for sales force territory alignment, sizing and structuring. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Solutions Manager at Logistics.com. In 2002, they joined Quintiles as a Senior Research Director and Eidetics as a Research Director, where they developed innovative market research practices, software systems, and conducted quantitative research projects. In 2012, they founded Protobi.
Pieter Sheth-Voss obtained a PhD in Decision Sciences and Engineering Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1994 and 1996. Prior to this, they obtained a MS in Operations Research and Engineering from the same institution between 1992 and 1994. Before that, they obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1988 and 1992.
