Francesca Cohen

Francesca Cohen is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Outside Deputy General Counsel at Protocol Labs since July 2021, where the focus is on driving innovation in computing and fostering collaboration among over 600 tech startups and organizations. Prior to this role, Francesca held the position of Senior Counsel at Menai Financial Group for a brief period, contributing to the integration of established and digital finance. Previous experience includes acting as Counsel on the Corporate Transactions team at ViacomCBS and working as a Corporate Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, specializing in public and private M&A. Francesca began their career as a Lab Manager at New York University’s Carrasco Lab and has also interned at the Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Education includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Psychology and French from New York University, complemented by studies in Neuroscience and Literature at Harvard University.
